As an Herbalife Health Coach, I get the wonderful and amazing opporunity to meet with lots of poeple and help them in their goals toward a healtheir, more active lifestyle. They come to us because they want to lose weight, gain lean muscle, and often just feel better and have more energy. Its an honor to be able to help them, to teach them how to get those results and reach their goal weight, their ideal body type, and get the life they want. Its not easy to do, but its much easier when you have a coach like Becky Schacht or myself.

Another benefit to use is that we get to see what gets people the best results and what doesn't, and because of this we can help people even better because we have lots of people giving us information on what helps them. Often times its a different way to take their Herbalife nutrition program, but sometimes its simply a different way of thinking, but its different for everyone. I am going to share with you today three things that people do to derail themselves, and postpone or eliminate the results they were on their way to getting. These things are very common, and they are things I see with my clients very often. I have many clients in Rochelle Illinois, but I also have them around the country and these same trends seem to fit, and seem to carry through our society today.

The first thing I am going to talk about is th e concept of a "cheat day". Soem of you who are reading this may be cringing thinking "No please don't take away my cheat day!" Don't worry, its for your own good. What happens when you have a cheat day is that you get into the habit of thinking that your actions toward a healtheir you is a temporary thing, and that when you reach your goal weight you can go back to eating the things you used to eat. This is a lie, and its one of the most common things that derail people. Your habits got to into the body you are in, and that is why we need to learn new habits. Sometimes we hold out until our cheat day, and undo everything we worked hard for over the week, mentally and physically. I promise you that putting those ol habits behind you for good will help you get faster results, and more lasting results. Remember that a clean break is better than a fracture. Its true with bones and its also true with your nutrition habits.

The second thing is the thought that you can do this by yourself, with no accountability or coaching. This may be true for a few of you, but for most people its not. As a Health Coach, I am a teacher who helps my clients learn and understand what they need to do, but I also keep them accountable. If you take away the coaching, you end up quitting just about the time your coach would have met with you and surred you on to keep going, and helped you find that extra motivation to dig deeper and continue. This is what we do for our clients, and its why they get consistent results over time without quitting, because they aren't alone. Don't do it alone, find someone who has already done it and can help you do the same. Becky and I have lost over 50lbs together, and we have kept it off for years which is why we are confident we can teach others to do the same.

The last thing I want to mention is consistency. I always tell my clients "The quickest way to go nowhere is to keep changing what you are doing". Its like that dog from the movie thats having the conversation and sudfdenly yells "SQUIRREL!". Don't do that to yourself. Whatever you choose to do, whether its Herbalife or other programs, be consistent with what you take, what you eat, how you exercise, and how you think because thats the only way to get results over time that last. The famous term "yo-yo dieting" is because people are inconsistent with their habits and activities, making them go up and down in their weight and motivation. There is no need for that, pick something small today to begin to do everyday, and you will see results over time. One of my mentors once told me that eating seven apples on sunday isn't as good as eating one per day over the whole week. He was right.

My last tip is surround yourself with positive uplifting people to help you get where you want to go. Here at Complete Core Wellness, at the Rochelle 24FIT Challenge, with our Team of Rochelle Health Coaches, we have some truly incredible people who will prove to be upbeat, positive, and cheer you up when you need it. We beleive that the key to success is more than just eating right, its a lifestyle that you build to support the new healthy you, and we can show you how.
